What we do

Our pioneering image-based training programme provides women in Sierra Leone with life-changing skills to start, develop and sustain a business, regardless of their education and their circumstances.

Our Approach

Training

A highly interactive image-based system to teach business skills and encourage critical thinking. It is practical, culturally attuned and delivered by local facilitators.

Impact

Over 4 million women in Sierra Leone live in poverty. Many of these resilient women try to run small businesses to sustain themselves and their families, but they face immense challenges because they haven't had the support and resources they need to succeed

Since launch, we have worked with local training teams in disadvantaged communities. The impact of our work goes far beyond our participants new ability to run successful businesses.

Our programmes play an important role in building financial resilience, enabling women to gain greater control over decision-making in their households, and helping people in remote communities to build critical support networks
